Rugby league at secondary school level is more than a game, it is a pathway to a better future. Fiji Secondary School Rugby League is affiliated to the parent body Fiji National Rugby League. FSSRL is mandated under its Constitution for the growth, development, and delivery of rugby league at secondary school level. From the interior of Viti Levu, to the sugar cane fields in the West, and to the northen schools, rugby league uniquely form friendship among players, and unite the rugby league secondary school community like no other sport can.

Our Players

 Over 100,000 played secondary school’s rugby league since its inception in 2007. Honorary Lists of those entire prominent schoolboys rugby league player’s. 


Prominent professional rugby league players developed by the Vodafone Trophy Competition include Viliame Kikau, Marika Koroibete, Virimi Vakatawa, Suliasi Vunivalu, Tui Kamikamica, Adrea Cocagi, Seta Tamanivalu, Taqele Naiyaravoro, Mika Ravalawa, Eroni Sau, Aminiasi Tuimaba and the list goes on.


Players such as Kikau, Koroibete, Vunivalu, Kamikamica and Ravalawa made their mark in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition in Australia.
